"I loved going to the farm!! My favorite was all the wild kittens, boy I would end up with so many scratches on me, but I didn't care! I loved them! I would try to sneak them in the house but boy great granny would say "Lonna Lee you get those kittens out of the house". (grin) Hey, I tried. I would sit on the tractor in the barn all the time, made me feel so big. I always loved the noisy, squeaky screen door, when I built my log home in Wyoming, I bought a screen door the exact same, maybe not as old but the same."
Kent and I loved going to the farm before we had childen! Then we loved taking our daughters who also loved chasing the kittens!! Granny always had something fun for the great grand kids to do. Granny was a good cook too!! The farm was a fun place to go and don't forget the good apricots that Granny had on her tree. I loved the porch and Granny had a nice little house that was so comfortable. Granny so enjoyed family and we helped her as much as we could. Our daughters still talk about the good times at the farm in Carnegie!!
